DAY 3 • JULY 18
Kieran Hebden, best known by the stage name Four Tet, has, since 1999 produced seven albums, including the famous “Rounds”, “Everything Ecstatic” and most recently “Beautiful Rewind”. His career is well-rooted in the most diverse areas of music: not only has he created albums and remixes and performed at live shows but he has also collaborated with great names such as Burial and Thom Yorke (and followed Radiohead as a supporting act). He also worked on the Warehouse Project with his friend Caribou. In recent years, Four Tet has created a DVD of music videos (made with directors and artists like Woof Wan Bau and Jason Kicks) as well as several compilations. He hasn’t ever stopped and continues to travel on tours that from time to time touch down in Europe, America, and Japan.
Another important moment for Hebden’s career was his collaboration with the legendary jazz drummer Steve Reid.
Four Tet’s great ability in reworking songs of other artists has also enabled him to produce a large number of remixes: Explosions in the Sky, Thom Yorke and Steve Reich are just some of the names of artists and bands whose tracks have passed through his able hands. “Beautiful Rewind”, was published at the end of 2013 for his label Text Records, which has also signed partnerships with Thom Yorke, Burial, Terror and Danjah Rocketnumbernine. Another 4 albums were released by Domino Records. On May 6, Kieran announced that his new album, “Morning Evening”, would be released in early July, just in time for you to enjoy it at Zanne Festival, at which the artist will present an exclusive live set.
